The three of us had a private taxi transfer from our hotel to the plantation and back. The guide was very knowledgeable and insightful on our ride through the plantation landscape to the beech, he took our camera at the start and took plenty of good photos throughout our ride.Once in the beech he took our daughter for a once in a lifetime experience of cantering along the beech, followed by another once in a lifetime experience of swimming with the horses.Couldn't rate the guide and experience highly enough.Thank you all at reggae horseback
Our tour guide were excellent it was a nice ride they were very informative they took excellent care of us. We were very pleased
Other than the transportation, which arrived about 15 minutes late and was a car that was literally falling apart at least the A/C worked!, this trip was incredible. It was just my boyfriend and I on the tour, we started as soon as we got there, rode about 2 miles through the woods on a dirt road to get to the beach. Once on the beach the horses had a quick rest, changed saddles, and we went into the water for about 10 minutes. It was absolutely gorgeous - an unbelievable experience! When we got back to the farm, we took pictures with the ostrich, saw some peacocks they were shy and ran away, and headed back in the same car.
The tour guides were amazing, telling us about the different plants and animals that live in the wooded area we rode through. They also had my phone the whole time and took a bunch of amazing videos and photos, constantly posing the horse so we had the best background. Highly highly recommend!!
I will definitely be going again. It rained a bit the first portion of the trip but that was out of anyone's control. The guy's were super sweet including the cab driver that picked us up from the hotel. Felt like I was a member of the family not just a customer.
The stuff and the horses are very friendly and nice!
It was our boys' first horseback riding and they enjoyed totally!
When you visit Negril, you SHOULD experience this tour.
I had a really good time on this trip with Reggae Horseback Riding. I was the only person on the tour. The pick-up was a few minutes late due to a last minute change in driver -- the original one had a flat tire on the way to the hotel. The delay did not matter because I was the only person scheduled for the tour. The farm has about 45 horses and it is an easy ride along the trail to the beach. Make sure you take your sunscreen and bug spray. The guide pointed out a number of plants and other things of interest along the ride to the beach. We stopped at the beach for about 20 minutes before returning to the farm. The farm has chickens, peacocks and an ostrich. An ostrich -- the last thing I expected to see in Jamaica. I felt that this trip was much more personalized than the horseback riding tours that I saw traveling along the beach in front of my hotel. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a short half day trip while in Negril.
Really nice. It was only my husband and myself, along with two guides. It was great riding the horses on the beach and in the water.
Our guides were very quiet but friendly, but more than half the trip was riding down a dirt path with nothing but trees on either side until we reached the beach. The ride into the ocean was awesome but very short. On a positive side, they took lots of pics and videos for us and it was much closer to our hotel than the Island Routes tour. Would we do it again? Probably not.
Highly recommend Paul and his team at Reggae Horseback riding. They offer a very personal service that you cannot get elsewhere and loads of pics and video captured for free, which you cannot get elsewhere. This really suits riders of all abilities. You can walk the whole way if you prefer. Well behaved horses and a day to remember.
This was definitely a small group considering it was only my husband and I on the tour. We were picked up right on time in a taxi, and it was about a half an hour ride from the Tree House Resort in Negril.
The best thing I liked about this ride was that we didn't have to ride in a straight line like most trail rides, we could ride side by side. The guides were great and took tons of pictures of us with my camera.
I would definitely recommend this tour
